Install Sitecore Package

To install Sitecore package you will need to perform below steps:
  1. Download Sitecore Package or zip file on your machine/hard drive.
  2. Login into the Sitecore Panel to which you want to install your Sitecore Package.
  3. Click on the Start Icon and select Development Tools and select Installation Wizard:
  4. After that you will get the Installation Package window same as below:

  5. Click on the upload button it provides you upload files popup window to choose files:
  6. Now upload your Sitecore package with the respective location from your machine and click the next button.
  7. Select Overwrite existing files checkbox (it will overwrite the Sitecore items if they already exist into Sitecore environment) and click on the upload button and select close in the next window.
  8. Now your Sitecore package is ready to install
  9. Click on the Next button and verify all the information on the next window and select the Install button.
  10. Select Restart Sitecore Server checkbox and click on the close button.
  11. Now publish the changes from your Sitecore content tree. Your Sitecore package is successfully imported now.

Import CSV Data in Sitecore Using PowerShell: Part-3

In my previous blog , we had discussed Sitecore PowerShell Command and Scripts. In this blog, I am discussing with you about How to Import CSV Data in Sitecore using PowerShell Scripts? To do the same you need to read the CSV file rows and create Sitecore Items into the Content Tree for each row then assign the column values of the row into the respective Item Field. There are two options: Write your own customized PowerShell Script and Import CSV Data. My journey for Sitecore MVP begins in the Year 2019. I commenced with Sitecore Technology blogs , actively participate on the Sitecore Stack Exchange Platform and Sitecore Slack Channel . I am honored to be named Sitecore Technology MVP 2022 . I feel fortunate to be participating with a Sitecore Community, Technology, and Product. I am happy that my all efforts and contributions are recognized by Sitecore and Community.
